A Place of Hope (APOH) was founded with the mission of alleviating hunger and food insecurity through the distribution of food including culturally appropriate food to the black and brown minority communities in the U S through our donor partners.
APOH works in collaboration with other agencies to provide food, wrap around and emergency referral service and support, immigration referral service, health and wellness classes and school supplies.
APOH seeks to provide financial stability through our workforce development scholarship program and employment, enhancing the lives of our residents.

Our core goal is to alleviate hunger and food insecurity, and break the cycle of poverty through education to youth and adults in underprivilege communities.
Alleviate food insecurity through nutritious food distribution to children and adults in underserved communities, and create pathways to financial independence and stability that breaks the cycle of poverty to underprivilege youth and adults leading a greater state of well-being.
