APOH started another outreach in Freetown, Sierra Leone in 2019, with a feeding program providing lunch to children in an underserved community for the school year. Results of this program helped curbed food insecurity, increased attendance whilst providing healthy nutritious meals to the kids
The program saw an increase into other underserved communities and schools, and communities with infants that were malnourished. To date we have fed over 35000 children in over 25 communities.
Our goal is to feed every child and alleviate hunger is the communities we serve in Sierral Leone. To date we have provided 25000 meals to kids in 22 locatiion and counting.
